New Parent Virtual Support Group

Becoming a parent is life changing. It can feel blissful, terrifying, easy, hard, rewarding, and challenging all at the same time. So much has changed, there’s so many questions, so many emotions, let’s talk about it! Our new parent support groups are facilitated by trained doulas who help guide the transition into the new role of parenthood. Here we share our stories, ask hard questions, reminisce about the joys, and maybe (probably) cry a little. Find your tribe with us, all are welcome.

+ facilitator: This week we welcome guest facilitator Kindra Scott, DPT, CLT, a Pediatric Physical Therapist and Certified Lymphedema Specialist for our Ask An Expert hour. We will discuss when your newborn wants to engage and when they are showing signs that they need a rest so we can prevent an overtired infant who is difficult to calm. For older children we will discuss ways to engage them to ensure age-appropriate movement skills.
