Becoming a parent is life changing. It can feel blissful, terrifying, easy, hard, rewarding, and challenging all at the same time. So much has changed, there’s so many questions, so many emotions, let’s talk about it! Our new parent support groups are facilitated by trained doulas who help guide the transition into the new role of parenthood. Here we share our stories, ask hard questions, reminisce about the joys, and maybe (probably) cry a little. Find your tribe with us, all are welcome.

+ facilitator: This week we welcome guest facilitator Megan Mauger (she/her). She is a queer birth and postpartum doula based out of West Philly. Building community around parenthood is central to her work. She is also one of the organizers of the Philly Birth Fund, raising money to make homebirths more accessible to BIPOC and part of the Philly Queer Doula Collective that hosts queer and trans family meetups among other things!
