Mama Kia’s music classes are a celebration of rhythm, rhyme and imagination. Kids (and adults!) are free to explore movement and music through this interactive class that includes call and response, scarf dancing, and instruments!

+ Series runs for four Thursdays (July 11th, 18th, 25th, August 1st)

+ $80 for the four week series / $22 per drop-in ($11 siblings)

+ all classes will take place outside at Lemon Hill Park

+ best for ages 0-5! 

About Mama Kia:

Mama Kia (Ms.Kia Knight) is an Early Childhood Educator with twenty years of experience teaching in Philadelphia. She is a vocalist and a percussionist with an extensive mental catalog of children’s songs. Mama Kia has an understanding of how necessary music and movement is for young children from a child development perspective. Her goal is to entertain, educate and inspire.
