We’re turning 5!!! This is a big one for us, we’re officially out of toddlerhood! Come celebrate with us and some of our friends - we have a big morning planned for you!

We will have open play all morning, a special storytime with Baby Wordplay at 10:00 in the main playspace, spring flower crowns and bouquet making upstairs in the large classroom, and Together Coffee and Over the Moon Icecream serving up drinks and treats on the mezzanine! Not only that, we have special guest Allie Paints Love doing custom family portraits, Fara J Balloons doing his amazing balloon creations for the kids and Unless Kids hosting a spring clean-out toy drive for their growing sustainable toy buying platform, opening to the public soon! Please bring a toy (or more!) to donate in exchange for a free month membership on their platform!

They conduct storyplays all over the city with books, songs, finger-plays, puppets, movement, live music, sign language and more. Unless Kids

Unless Kids is a fun, sustainable and convenient membership-based toy buying platform for you to get the toys your kids want and get rid of the toys they don’t, all in one easy solution.

They will be up and running in 2024. In anticipation of their launch, Unless Kids is collecting the toys your family no longer needs post-holidays as you get ready for spring cleaning! Not only will this help them build out inventory, but it will also get you one free month of membership on the platform for every toy we receive from you (up to a year of membership).

They ask that, when setting aside toys to give, you follow the golden rule: give unto others what you would want to give to your own child. Basically, please don’t include any broken, incomplete or for lack of a better word, “gross,” toys. We are specifically looking for toys designed for children ages 2-10.

Together Skateboarding & Coffee 

Ron and Sara run the joint with help (or actually no help at all) from Harry and Otto. The couple met in Philly almost 20 years ago. While living in New York during the pandemic, Ron dreamt up the crazy idea to come back home and open a skateboard/coffee shop. When they found this corner space in Brewerytown, they knew it was the perfect spot to take a big leap and bring Together Skateboarding from an idea to a reality. @togetherphilly / togetherphilly.com 

Over The Moon Icecream

Pete and Emilia live on the border of Brewerytown and Fairmount with their baby twin girls and a fiesty senior chihuahua, Chewy. They recognized their own deep need for joy, community, and connection, and a desire to create a place that would bring people of all ages and backgrounds together for a simple pleasure. After many months, Over the Moon Ice Cream was born! Why “Over the Moon”? Because they hope to foster a spirit of joy and jubilation — something they believe everyone deserves on a regular basis.
