About Binto and your facilitators:
Suzie Devine
Suzie Devine is the founder and CEO of Binto— a culmination of her lifelong commitment to women’s health. After working in healthcare for years, she’s seen the health journey for what it can be: long, frustrating, overwhelming, and expensive. Suzie’s also seen patients bloom with renewed purpose. When anyone is on that journey, it’s hard to know where to turn or whom you can trust.
To further help provide her patients and network access to individualized care focused on reproductive health, Suzie launched Binto in 2016 - a first-to-market, DTC supplement company that offered personalized daily supplement packets tailored to a woman’s specific needs and reproductive stage, based on an in-depth survey created by Suzie and her medical advisory board. In the first year, Suzie worked endlessly to develop Binto, all while working as a nurse and teaching women’s health clinicals to nursing students at Villanova University. During this time, she developed strong relationships with patients - sharing in the bad news, and celebrating the good. These relationships enabled Suzie to truly experience the power of human connection, and she took these viewpoints to shape Binto. Suzie and her team found that customers were interested in speaking to professionals like herself to address in-depth medical and wellness questions that went beyond supplements, and so Binto evolved from an over-the-counter product company to a women’s health and wellness service.
Now, boasting a new Telehealth platform, Binto offers all women access to health and wellness providers via their team of Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, Registered Nutritionists, Lactation Specialists, and more to meet the needs of each reproductive stage.
Suzie holds a BSN from the University of Virginia and a Master’s Degree in Nursing for health leadership and education from the University of Pennsylvania. She is also an adjunct professor for Villanova University's School of Nursing, a 200-hour certified yoga instructor and mom to a 6-month-old baby boy.
Andi Schmerin
Andi Schmerin is the Director of Telehealth and Physician Assistant (PA-C) at Binto. Her background is in OBGYN and reproductive health and she has a passion for reproductive rights and birth control methods. She has worked at Planned Parenthood where she ran family planning clinic days seeing up to 25 patients daily for a variety of health concerns, and she has also worked at Reproductive Associates of Delaware where she helped in patient education and work-ups for fertility services. Seeing patients need better access to preventative health and providers, Andi was excited to join the team at Binto to help further women’s empowerment and give more women access to safe and effective care. Andi enjoys speaking with each and every patient and Binto customer about their needs and seeing positive results in their health and especially their reproductive journeys.
Andi holds a BA in Psychology/Pre-Med from Lehigh University and a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Drexel University. She also maintains her PA certification annually and is a mom to 3 kids under 5.
