Small Talk is a language-based play group intended for infants and toddlers 6-36 months old and their caregivers. Classes will target social skills, language development, sensory exploration, early speech sounds, and parent-coach strategies to facilitate communication development. Classes will be run by certified speech and language pathologists (Sylwia, Allison, and Bridget) who specialize in early childhood development.

About your facilitator:
Allison Ortolano, MS, CCC-SLP is a Pennsylvania State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Allison received both her Bachelors and her Masters in Speech Language Pathology from Loyola University Maryland. Allison has practiced in both Maryland and Pennsylvania, most recently working in Philadelphia’s Early Intervention program. Allison specializes in working with children birth through three years old with a wide range of communication and feeding disorders. Allison is passionate about working closely with families in a way that reinforces learned strategies to ensure their child’s growth and success continue beyond weekly sessions. Allison is certified in Attachment Biobehavioral Catch-up, which is a home based parent coaching program focused on fostering healthy social-emotional development.
