This class is a wonderful opportunity to have fun and interact with your young dancer, foster socialization, and explore movement and music in creative ways! We will move, sing, count, stretch, imagine, jump, leap, roll, boogie woogie, and more! This is a perfect class for dancers who are not yet ready to separate from their caregivers, helping them to build their self-confidence as they grow into young dancers!

This class is for all kids, ages 18 months- 2.5 years!

+ $52 for four week series / $15 per drop-in (if space allows!)

About your teacher:

Pamela Hetherington is a Philadelphia dancer, choreographer, and cultural leader in the field of tap dance. A fourth-generation Philadelphian and a dance educator for 24 years, she established Sound Space Performing Arts in 2015 as an urban dance conservatory with an emphasis on preserving and innovating the study of percussive and world dance forms. The studio has expanded twice in six years. A consummate dance education professional who has innovated the field for over two decades, she has taught at countless studios, recreation centers, camps, after school programs, universities, and K-8 schools. Sound Space Performing Arts is an outgrowth of her dance education experiences and fills a need for a dance environment where children are encouraged to grow as innovative artists.
