Pregnancy is contextual, natural, and is a different experience for every body. However, within all of these inherent differences, we share the same hopes, dreams, and fears surrounding it: we all want to have a happy and healthy birth (and a happy and healthy baby!).
Tailored specifically for people who are expecting, I’m Sticking With You, seeks to create and nurture a positive pregnancy and birth experience, however that may look and feel to you.
Whether or not you have an existing yoga practice, the practice of prenatal yoga provides a unique avenue to cultivate the strength, trust, confidence, and surrender desired to support the remarkable nature of birth.
Classes focus on three distinct avenues - movement, education, and community. The movement flow is designed to assist in the physical changes of the pregnant body- the increased curvatures of the spine, alignment and balance within the pelvis/pelvic floor, and alleviating the aches and pains of a body in constant transformation. The educational aspect will provide a toolkit for pushing positions, pain management, and coping skills for both pregnancy and labor. Our communal portion will be in the coming together, the reminder that you are not alone, and there is a wide net of folks going through a similar experience.
