Using researched methods developed by Edwin Gordon, she boosts music aptitude and language development through song, dance, and play. About Rachel:

Rachel Meyner (BA Music Education, BA Music Performance, Temple U., MA Music Performance, University of Delaware) is a local classical flutist and music teacher with a special fondness for the world’s youngest musicians. In late Spring of 2020, she found herself singing alone to her newborn amidst a world torn by riots, disease, and loneliness. Miss Minor’s Music School began with the simple dream that quality education could continue safely through outdoor classes, and that song could introduce our children to the joys of friendship and community once more. Today, with over ten years of teaching experience specializing in early childhood music education, she incorporates song, dance, movement, instrument-playing, world music, and interactive games for the most enriching music class possible. When Rachel isn’t singing silly songs, she is eagerly devouring world music, salsa dancing, knitting, and playing tennis quite poorly. She and her family hope to meet you and sing with you soon!
